When I was in elementary school, it seemed like me and my best friend were always getting into trouble. We went to [except for us] an all white school in Chico. We stuck out like sore thumbs on the playground, so it was easy to peg us. A lot of times when we were getting into messes, we would tell the teacher that these kids had called us 'niggers'. We never lied about that. It's just that they called us 'niggers' all the time, and it was always a convenient way to get out of stuff.
