To me, it seems like things between the sexes are changing for the better, but it's still pretty confusing. I think more guys are starting to be more sensitive, and girls are demanding that, but basically guys are still expected to initiate things - like asking for a date. I never used to notice this, until I met this guy I liked a lot, and wanted to ask him out. Then it dawned on me that this is not the usual. I think though, that communication is starting to get better. Especially because of the AIDS thing, people are talking more about sex rather than just jumping into it.
